Will Hyuuga Neji Die In Naruto Shippuuden? (Shocking Details!)
The main question every Naruto fan has been asking these days is if Hyuuga Neji did die in the recent chapters of Naruto manga.
If you have only been watching the anime (Naruto Shippuuden), this will probably be a MAJOR spoiler for you, so if you don't want to be spoiled, DO NOT read further. For those of you who probably heard the "rumor" and are so eager to find out if it's true, then READ ON.
How did Neji's death happen?
So back to the question, did Neji die in Shippuuden? Sorry to disappoint you, but the answer is... yes, he died. How did it happen? If you aren't reading the manga and relies on Google to tell you all the juicy, shocking details of what's happening in the manga, then I'll shed some lights for you.
I assume we all already know about the sparks between Naruto and Hinata, right? After she confessed to him and everything? And suppose you know about THE war? If you don't, through to the end of the manga, a war will break, between the ninja alliance (consists of all the countries in the Narutoverse) and Uchiha Madara (consists of Uchiha Madara, Tobi, Zetsu, and what's left of Akatsuki, and also Kabuto).
In this great war, Uchiha Madara is so close to destroying the world, and is waiting for the bijuu to mature. Here, a fight ensues between the ninja alliance and the Madara group. While this is happening, the Hyuuga's were guarding Naruto from the enemy (Naruto is the jinchuuriki of Nine-tails, so they need him). At this point, Naruto is at his limit, and the Kyuubi is preserving his chakra. When one of the enemy's attack is almost hitting Naruto, Hinata blocks the attack to save Naruto. And at the same time, Neji blocks the attack to save Hinata AND Naruto. So there you go. And he dies. And the curse seal on his forehead disappears. Sad, I know.

Die now, or die later?
Actually guys, the real question you should be asking is, if Neji dies early, a bit later, or much later in the manga. We all know that important characters get killed mercilessly in Naruto, so for each of them it's whether it's sooner, or later. And not to forget, the characters that have been killed that are brought back to life (after we cry our eyes out for their death). I'm not talking about Edo Tensei jutsu, I'm talking about the part where Pain resurrected everyone in Konoha. Yeah, that. Seems like Masashi Kishimoto, the author of Naruto, is really enjoying causing us pain, misery, and at some occasions, joy and pleasure (of seeing Danzou's painful death maybe?).
My point is, we really don't know if a death is final in Naruto, because anything can happen afterward. We've seen heart-wrenching death of Shizune and Kakashi, whom both later were resurrected by Pain. But we've also seen the death of Itachi and Deidara that are both considered "final" since they were brought back to life using Edo Tensei later on by Kabuto. But who knows if Kishimoto throws us a major plot twist later to make us believe the otherwise? Who knows if Kishimoto is going to have an epiphany to kill all the characters in Naruto? We really don't know, do we?
